Locations

Visit the store at Appledene Plaza, Hwy 2, on the west edge of Trenton, across from Walmart. (The 911 number is 17477). Exit the 401 at Trenton, Wooler Road, travel south to Hwy 2, turn left there. Walmart is on the left, then proceed through the traffic lights and you will see me, Pine Ridge Knit & Sew, in the Appledene Plaza on your right. (Look for the Subway signs)

Description

Pine Ridge Knit and Sew is owned and operated by me, Yvette Matthys. It all began at my kitchen table in 1986, with a knitting machine, some yarn, and a "never say can't" attitude! I remained a home-based business until my youngest child was in school full days, then went store-front in a small plaza north of Cobourg, Ontario. At that time Pine Ridge Knitting Machines was becoming well known in the area for "the" place for supplies, both new and used machines, and inspiration. Lessons and classes kept the place humming. The business continued to thrive and grow, soon sewing, serging and embroidery machines by Husqvarna/Viking & White shared the space with the knitting machines and the name changed to Pine Ridge Knit & Sew.
