Quilting Heaven on Earth!

I am an avid quilter and I am always looking for unique fabrics. Ruti's Needlebed has the BEST selection of unique fabrics I have ever seen. The staff are super helpful with choosing fabrics and advice about everything. I just started quilting a few years ago but took the beginner quilting class at Ruti's and now I quilt all the time and love it. I never thought I could do it but the classes were so great and I finished my first quilt and now have made many many more.

Yarns Galore in Mississauga

This store has a split personality - half yarn and the other half quilting, but it works well. My interest is in the yarns. Ruti (pronounced "Ruthy") has a vast array of natural yarns, synthetics, as well as a great variety of fancy yarns - my favourite. Some prices can be high, but not always. Staff is friendly and there when you need them. There is a collection of sewing machines and sergers downstairs for classes, and a knitting machine or two. Although I have no interest in quilting, the fabric collection is a wonderful collection of colours and textures. It's easy to be drawn to the store to find little trasures for your projects.
